Alibaba video model: open weights, runs local or cloud
Wan ships under an Apache 2.0 license, so the weights are free to download and run on your own hardware instead of only through Alibaba Cloud. It covers text-to-video, image-to-video, and editing an existing clip. Live since February 2025.
